David joined Svoboda Capital Partners (“SC”) in 2011 and is responsible for business development, transaction evaluation and execution, leading due diligence and portfolio management. David serves on the boards of Monroe Engineering and Ward Adhesives.
Prior to joining SC, David spent three years at Ellipse Capital with SC Managing Director Peter Gotsch focusing on investing in growth-oriented distribution businesses across a broad range of end-markets. Prior to joining Ellipse Capital, David was an Associate with Code Hennessy & Simmons LLC where he focused on investing in the distribution sector as well as consumer and business services. Before joining CHS, David was employed by Merrill Lynch in the Investment Banking Division.
David is actively involved in the community and currently volunteers with the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, and is a member of the W Club Executive Committee of Chicago.
David holds a B.S.B.A degree from Washington University in St. Louis with majors in Finance and Applied Mathematics.
