Rick joined Svoboda Capital Partners (“SC”) in 2004 and is responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential investment opportunities, leading due diligence, structuring and negotiating transactions, and managing portfolio company investments. Rick serves on the boards of Databank, Cape Electrical Supply, GPA, and Border Construction Specialties.
Prior to joining SC, Rick spent three years with the Investment Banking division at Merrill Lynch & Co. (“Merrill”) in Chicago. During his tenure at Merrill, Rick focused on mergers and acquisitions advisory and debt and equity financings.
He holds a BBA degree with high distinction in Accounting and Finance from the University of Michigan and also received a Masters of Accounting degree from the University of Michigan. Rick is a Certified Public Accountant.
