Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. Completes Sale of MilesTek Corporation

Chicago, IL – January 23, 2007 – Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. announced today that it has sold its equity investment in Denton, TX - based MilesTek Corporation to Castle Island Partners, LLC, a private equity firm based in Boston. Capstone Partners, LLC acted as MilesTek’s exclusive investment banking advisor in connection with the transaction.

MilesTek Corporation is a specialty, value-added distributor of private label and branded electronic connectivity components including cables, connectors and installation tools. Founded in 1981 as a supplier of custom designed telecommunications products, MilesTek has grown to become a global catalog and Internet direct marketer delivering product and custom cable assemblies to over 25,000 customers. Acquired by Svoboda, Collins in late 2000, MilesTek serves customers in the contractor & installer, system/network integrator, telecommunications, audio/visual, educational, government, and military markets.
