Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. Announces a Platform Investment in the Direct Mail Industry

CHICAGO, IL – May 11, 2007 – Svoboda, Collins today announced it is partnering with Mark Majeske in the acquisition of Superior Mailing Services, Inc. (“Superior” or the “Company”). This transaction is the fourth platform investment for Svoboda, Collins Fund II L.P.

Based in Bedford Park, Illinois, Superior is a provider of letter-shop services in the direct mail industry. Superior serves the letter-shop needs for a variety of customers including retailers, printers, agencies and non-profits. Simon Quirion and Slade Edling founded the business in 1996 and will continue to be involved with the business.

SC is partnering with Mark Majeske to build Superior into a full service direct mail provider. Majeske’s vision is to build Superior’s capabilities to become a one-stop direct mail service provider for customers nationwide. “We have worked closely for one year with Majeske to target and evaluate this opportunity. We believe Superior represents an excellent platform with which Majeske can pursue his strategy.” said Alex Miller, Managing Director at Svoboda,Collins.

SC views Superior as a platform investment into the direct mail industry and will be seeking to make additional strategic acquisitions in the space. “We feel that the acquisition of Superior represents an excellent entry point to the direct mail industry. We intend to pursue both organic and acquisition related growth.” said Alex Miller.
