Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. Announces Major Investment in Border Construction Specialties
CHICAGO,
IL - March 14, 2007 - Svoboda, Collins L.L.C. today announced it has partnered with executive management to invest in Border Construction Specialties (“Border” or the “Company”). This transaction is the third investment for Svoboda, Collins Fund II L.P. M&I Bank provided a senior debt facility to complete the transaction.
Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Border is a leading provider of specialty construction products to the construction industry in the southwestern United States and operates out of 13 branch facilities. Border has been ranked as one of Arizona’s top 100 privately held businesses every year since 1989 and has also been named the American Subcontractor Association Supplier of the Year of Arizona three of the last five years. Border enjoys extensive long-term relationships with its employees, customers and suppliers within the industry.
